One day we were on the beach in Maine and Elizabeth fell in love…with a log.
She rescued it from a watery grave and wanted to bring it home.
Because lugging a log a mile and a half down the beach and into a car to be transported 150 miles away is the most normal thing in the world.
It was one of those times I questioned the validity of our sisterhood.
WHAT in the world was she going to do with it when she got home?
Who knows! I don't think she had any plan at all so it would have just been sitting around our yard for the next 10 years! 🙂
Did she succesfully get it home? That would make a really beautiful end table with a piece of glass on top. Or on its side it would be a great bonfire seat. Josh and I went to San Diego in April and I tried to get him to rescue a log from the ocean for me but it was too long to fit in our car. If Elizabeth's log made it home, you'll have to show us what creative thing does with it!
